梅雨かと思いきや、

真夏のような日に☀️

頂いた水無月を食して

夏越祓🧊

“京都では6/30に食べて、

この半年の罪や穢れを祓い、

残り半年の無病息災を祈願する”

ということらしい😄✨

It is the summer solstice today ☀️

I thought

the rainy season had started,

but it has been like real summer

in these few days ☀️

I ate a Japanese sweet

that is called Minatsuki,

the old name of June.

We eat it on 6/30.

It’s said

“In Kyoto, on June 30th,

which marks the halfway point

of the year, a Shinto ritual called

“Nagoshi no Harae”

is held to purify the sins and

impurities of the past six months

and to pray for good health

in the remaining half of the year”

一曲目の

G.レンツ：ヴァイオリン協奏曲

「…to beam in distant heavens…」(日本初演)

衝撃的なハンマーの音で始まり、

エレキギター、

シンセサイザー、

お箸🥢、

ワインボトル

(今回は日本なので日本酒の瓶も😄)や、

オフステージ(客席の後ろ)の

６人の演奏🎶

曲が立体的に感じられ、

何とも宇宙的な曲✨

ソリストの

アラベラ・美歩・シュタインバッハーさん

に書かれた曲とか🎻

素晴らしいヴァイオリンの演奏と、

沖澤のどか氏の

明確で真摯な指揮💫

とても楽しい素敵な時間でした🎶

今日も2時半から❣️

We had one of our subscription

concerts yesterday

and

we have the other one today 🎶

The first music is

Georges Lentz: Violin Concerto

“..to beam in distant beavens…”

(Japan Premiere)

It starts shocking hummer sound🔨

It’s included unique instruments

such as

electric guitar,

synthesizer,

chopsticks,

and wine bottles

(this time we use some Japanese

sake bottles too,

bc this is Japan 😄)

There are 6 off stage players,

behind the audience.

I feel their sound made the music

three dimensional

and very cosmical✨

This music was written for

violinist

Arabella Miho Steinbacher🎻

Her playing was terrific

and

maestro Nodoka Okisawa

conducted clearly and sincerely💫

It was a great fun time🎶

We are having one more concert
